OpenTTD requires the original version of Transport Tycoon Deluxe data files in order to function. Please refer to the readme for more information.

Nightly builds are available for the daring and adventurous users who wish to be on the bleeding edge. Note that these builds are completely unsupported and may not even function properly. Use at your own risk. Backup your savegame ALWAYS before using a nightly. Don't complain to us if it has eaten your savegame.

The latest stable version is 0.6.2, released on August 1st 2008.

• Mac OS X (universal, for 10.3 or newer only)
• Debian/Ubuntu i386 (see note below)

In addition, binaries for different Linux distributions, MorphOS, Windows 95, 98 and ME, Windows x64, OS/2, etc. are available here.

Note: users of Debian unstable and testing can simply use apt to install a stable version of OpenTTD.

OpenTTD comes bundled with a few different scenarios. Some releases such as the source files do not have the scenarios embedded into them. You can download these from SourceForge. All scenarios are upwards compatible, so scenarios from 0.4.8 will work in 0.5.0. Currently the following scenarios are available:

• Scenarios for OpenTTD 0.5.0 (gz) (bz2) (zip) [5 scenarios]
• Scenarios for OpenTTD 0.4.8 (gz) (bz2) (zip) [16 scenarios]

Here are the released files with their MD5sum. These are the files we officially release. Any file you receive that doesn't match this MD5 means it didn't come from us and might possibly contain dangerous modifications!
