It's weekend and time to play. Maybe a new game with the brand new OpenTTD 1.4.2?

In the RC2 no major show stoppers were found, so we release this now as stable version. See the changelog here. If you find any bugs, please tell us and report it in our bug tracker. Otherwise enjoy and possibly tell others :)

Enjoy,
Your OpenTTD team

Despite the sunny summer weather (or perhaps thanks to the warm weather), several people found new bugs in the previous release candidate.

As highlights, ships used the wrong sound for a break down, and there was a sudden loss of tractive effort due to an overflow with trains. Also, Slovak number separator locale was fixed. The complete list of fixes can be found at the Changelog.

Thanks to all who found and reported these bugs. It helps in making OpenTTD a stable program that can be enjoyed for many years.

For further testing, we are happy to present a new OpenTTD 1.4.2-RC2 version.

If you find any problems, please report them to our bug tracker.

The hunt for bugs in OpenTTD 1.4 continues. Today you can get your hands on the first release candidate for 1.4.2.

Most noticeable it works around issues with very recent versions of OSX resp. its video drivers; but it also makes games with multiple thousands of stations work again.

Please help testing OpenTTD 1.4.2-RC1 and report issues to our bug tracker.

Thanks, and have fun!

With OpenTTD 1.4.1 we have a new stable version in the 1.4 series. Compared to the previous release candidate it fixes a regression with the order of how some packets are sent to the admin port.

We hope you'll enjoy playing. You find the new version at the usual download location. Should you encounter any bugs, please report them in our bug tracker.

Have fun,
Your OpenTTD team

The 1.4.1-RC1 testing release still had a few bugs that were found due to your play-testing efforts. Among them an issue for multi-head train refits at stations, and an old bug where cargo was not aging. The entire list of changes can be found in the Changelog.

As usual, please test the new new 1.4.1-RC2 release, and report any bugs that you find to the FlySpray bug tracker.

If all goes well, we should have a new stable release soon.
